How did you discover your inner artist? Was it a gradual process or a surprise discovery?

I've always had a passion for art since I was a child. My father would bring me countless colouring books, and I would happily lose myself in the act of painting. For a while, though, I had to set that aside to focus on my studies. However, during the COVID pandemic, I rediscovered my love for art and started working on it again. It's been a gradual journey, but I've made steady progress and haven't looked back. I truly love what I do and am following my heart.

What would you say to a beginner artist who might be a little scared to try creating?

Never let fear hold you back from creating art; just be true to yourself. There’s no such thing as good or bad art; everyone has their unique creative voice. Do not allow negative comments about your work belittle you or dampen your passion for creation.

How did you get into being a social media artist? Any tips on building up the courage to share your work?

I began my social media journey because of peer pressure; I saw other artists achieving great things and thought, "Why not give it a shot?" However, I quickly became overwhelmed and decided to take a long break. Eventually, when I decided to pursue this full-time, I committed wholeheartedly and never looked back. I dove into learning how to shoot and edit videos and master transitions, and gradually, I started to gain the appreciation I had been seeking from my audience.

In the beginning, I was hesitant, but I pushed through that uncertainty and focused on improving my skills. I know I'm still far from perfect and I haven't yet defined a unique art style, but I'm determined to keep growing. So, don’t let fear hold you back, put in your best effort and just go for it!

Do you listen to music while creating? If so, what’s your go-to sound?

I enjoy listening to soft Indie music, as it really helps me concentrate on my work.

What art mediums are your go-tos? We love that you’re into so many kinds of art!

My all-time favourite art mediums are gouache and acrylics. At the moment, I'm really into crafting and DIY projects.

What’s something that you’re proud of, that you don’t often get to talk about?

Following your passion and turning it into a full-time pursuit takes a great deal of courage, and that’s something I take pride in. Although many may judge my choices, the desire to prove them wrong only fuels my determination and strengthens my resolve.

How do you tackle art block?

When I hit an art block and struggle to create something on my own, I often find inspiration by looking at other artists' work. Sometimes, I take a break to recharge or reach out to my followers to see what they would like me to create.

If you designed your dream creative space, what would it look like?

The room would be bathed in sunlight, full of my floral artworks which I love to create. I envision a clean, minimalistic space adorned with a few aesthetic touches and abundant flowers and plants.

What or who are your biggest creative inspirations?

I truly admire a number of artists, but there are two who profoundly inspire me. Their journeys and passion for their craft resonate deeply with me. One is Vincent van Gogh, and the other is Michelangelo.

What’s your favourite day of the week?

Sunday is my favourite day of the week because I use it as a time to unwind and recharge. This break not only refreshes me but also inspires me for the upcoming week, allowing me to brainstorm new ideas and tap into my creative thinking.
