1. Texture and art

There’s something grounding about repeating shapes and lines. This textured canvas art layers arches, dots, and soft pastel shades with a dazzling sweep of metallic gold. Creating affirmations is a great way to centre yourself and provide clear direction. Start with an intention or affirmation that you want to work towards (remember it’s about being kind to yourself!) Write it in the middle of your page and add colourful brushstrokes all around for a firework effect to celebrate the affirmation. Keep your hand relaxed and let the shapes grow across the page – no pressure, just play. Repeat shapes and keep the spacing consistent to create your very own pattern.
